columbus boudoir photographer in ohioWe’ve been running a special fundraiser this month in support of breast cancer awareness month!

For the month of May, a portion of all of our boudoir sessions are being donated to the Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research.  We have already raised a good amount, but in an effort to raise even more donations, we are extending the special to include those shoots “booked” during the month of May.  That means you don’t have to have your shoot “scheduled” for May.  We can set it up for a later date and your session fee can still help support this cause.

We have seen and believe that our boudoir sessions can be uplifting and encouraging to breast cancer survivors, so this is a topic that we hold dear to our hearts. We’re excited to see how much we will be donating!

If you have been considering a session and just haven’t mustered up the courage to contact us, now’s the time to do it!

Be sure to check out our new Specials page for offers and discounts.

And if you’re not a fan already, please “like” us on facebook so you are kept informed of all the latest!

A few weeks back I had the privilege of doing a custom calendar shoot for one of my boudoir clients.  She came to me with the idea of a different theme/look for each month, and was going to present it to her fiance as a gift.  Of course I was all excited about the idea and thought it sounded really fun!  With Meg on the job providing a gorgeous look, we were all set to work with our many props and boudoir outfits.  With just a little extra time added to our standard session, we were able to accomplish a complete 12-month calendar shoot.  Here’s some of my favorite photographs…

This one is my all-time favorite shot!

Here’s another sneak peek at another one of the many sessions done during Boudoir Days. Miss Linda is such a kind-hearted, modest person. Kudos for being adventurous and going outside your comfort zone to do this shoot! I’m glad we were able to make you feel beautiful.

She came with a friend, and was super fun to photograph! I know her husband will be thrilled to receive these photos for his Christmas gift this year. Carol looks so stunning, I didn’t even apply any airbrushing to her photos! Here’s a sneak preview of her boudoir session…

Your bridal boudoir session is a way to capture a time in your life that’s so special and remember what you looked like forever. Put a collection of your favorite photos in a Little Black Book and it’s also a wonderful wedding gift to your fiance.

It’s sometimes hard to know what to wear for a shoot like this. If you’re like most brides, you’re probably going to go out and buy something special for your honeymoon, and that’s exactly what you can wear for your bridal boudoir session! If you need some ideas, Victoria Secret has an entire line of gorgeous bridal lingerie.

Here’s some samples of VS collection

We also have a local Columbus Ohio boutique located in the Short North called Undone. They carry several lines of beautiful European designed lingerie. The following are all items carried in their shop that I think would be great for a bridal boudoir shoot!

I know. I’ve been a horrible blogger this summer! Wedding season hit full swing and some things got pushed to the sidelines. But that’s not to say I haven’t been hard at work and making lots of improvements. I’m excited to bring you our new blog series of weekly featured vendors, ideas, styles & trends to keep you up to date on all the happenings in boudoir photography!

The first thing I’d like to share with you is a great find I stumbled across online. If you’d like a 1950’s Pin-Up look for your boudoir session and are looking for vintage inspired lingerie and accessories, Lucy B’s is a terrific place to visit! They are based out of Los Angeles, which is also where they make all of their products, however purchases are available online for those of us who aren’t lucky enough to live in sunny California. :)

They’ve been featured in top magazines such as InStyle, Lucky, Intima, 944, Lingerie, and more! Prices are reasonable with most outfits ranging from $30’s-$80’s, and they even have a bridal collection for those of you who are soon-to-be married and looking to do a boudoir shoot as a gift to your fiance.
